Notes:
1. White - Most popular for all-around use. Very close to natural light, which allows you to see "true color".
2. Red - There are applications that specifically require light that does not contain any blue component. Examples are photographic darkroom safe lights, illumination in laboratories where certain photo-sensitive chemicals are used, and situations where dark adaptation (night vision) must be preserved, such as cockpit and bridge illumination, observatories, etc.
3. UV-A - Authenticate currency and credit cards at POS (point of sale), admission/readmission control, See invisible ink security markings, bacteria, fluorescent minerals, urine or blood for crime analysis and forensics, pet stains, rodent contamination (urine, urine droplet trails and hair), auto AC leak detection, detect/inspect some antique glass - uranium or vaseline glass will glow (flouresces bright green under UV) because it contains uranium oxide, find scorpions and other insects! (Warning, emits visible and invisible radiation, Class 2 LED product. Do not view directly or with optical instruments.)
4. This Caddy will carry/store/power both a USB Jacklamp™ and a 6 pin Firewire Jacklamp™ and can receive both a USB type A plug and a 6 pin Firewire plug.
